ELENATION 0 Posted December 7, 2007 Ditto. Malted milk anything is puke-worthy. Give me a bag of Sour Cream and Cheddar Ruffles over those anyday, and I'll put an entire bag away. That's why I do not go down the chip aisle, ever. Well, I take both any day! I don't discriminate baby! that's sad!!!!!!!!!:omg:
Daisalana 33 Posted December 7, 2007 I'm glad I'm stuffed from lunch, this thread would get me craving all kinds of bad things.. ;D
anonemouse 1 Posted December 7, 2007 I dunno, I could have probably eaten the whole box of whoppers.Desserts, chips, snack foods.. no problem eating them all. My typical binge was never just junk food (well, besides fast food). I liked eating a lot of food foods from places.. or like 4 burgers from McDonalds.. all different kinds. Weee. My binges were always complete meals. I'd get take-away from a restaurant and just pig out. From Outback, I'd always get a salad, huge steak, potato,, another side, a blooming onion, dessert. I tried that once after being banded, and decided never again. That hurt. Believe it or not, I'm not really a fan of junk food. I don't really see the appeal of most of it. I always preferred to eat huge amounts of real food. Hell, I always have to get small containers of ice cream on the rare occasions that I get it, since it goes old and nasty before I finish it. babygrl1234 6 Posted December 7, 2007 I would binge on whatever was in the house. Or fast food. Or candy. Or anything. I even remember sneaking entire boxes of twinkies out of the freezer as a kid and eating them all in my room. Now my binges are more under control. Like the two cups of sugar free hot chocolate and one slice of toast I just ate. Funny how now I consider that to be a binge.
WASaBubbleButt 41 Posted December 8, 2007 Whoppers? Oh HELL yes!! Sex in a milk shaped carton. YUMMMMMMMM Jack in the crack has a milkshake where they just ruin Whoppers. They are stale, dry, and blechy. But straight from the carton? OMZ~~ Laura.... I dunno, I could have probably eaten the whole box of whoppers. That's what I love about a band! My obsession/addiction is totally doable and under control. No more 4 cartons of Whoppers, just a few pieces. Gotta love WLS!
faithmd 14 Posted December 8, 2007 Mmmmmmm Malted Milk anything....MMMMMMMM!!!!!! Even though I haven't lost a SINGLE FREAKING POUND in three months, I find it VERY refreshing that I can't stand fast food anymore. My husband and I will be out doing things and only have time to perhaps run through a drive-thru and grab a bite and I can't think of a single thing I want. Nothing tastes good to me anymore. I can maybe have a broccoli cheese Soup from McDonald's or a broccoli Soup from Tim Horton's but that's it. This coming from a woman who LOVED (and I mean LOVED) a Whopper from Burger King, heavy everything (no cheese), cut in half. That was my favorite, bar none. No more. I've had maybe one or two Whopper Jr.'s since banding, and they just didn't hold the same appeal for me. I would take couple bites and toss the rest. I hear ya, Lauren. Like you, my pigouts were usually a huge meal at a place like Outback or Damon's (I still love onion rings or bloomin onions or onion loafs), or I'd go to Elias Brother's Big Boy and get the spaghetti (comes with free seconds) and the soup-salad-and fruit bar and have two bowls of cabbage soup, a bowl of broccoli (with extra cheese on top), then two helpings of spaghetti and a salad, too. I went last week and was lucky to get most of my spaghetti down (one serving) and I had a cup (not a bowl) of broccoli and a cup of cabbage and ate only about 1/2 of each. I hurt so bad after that I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. But the one thing I cannot give up is sushi. (NOT raw stuff, vegetable or crab/shrimp only.) Even though the rice gets stuck and hurts. I know folks here say get sashimi, but it's not the same to me. I pull off most of the rice now, but I still need a bit of rice on it to soak up the soy sauce appropriately. I went to the chinese buffet last night by myself and I had a plate of sushi and a saucer sized plate with peanut chicken and walnut shrimp on it, I was stuffed, stuffed, stuffed. I came home and truly felt like I was going to toss my Cookies. So perhaps that's cured me of that binge (though probably not, it WAS sushi, after all...). *susan* 1,709 Posted December 9, 2007 I never, ever had a problem with overeating in restaurants. I was always afraid everyone would look at me and point and make comments about how it is obvious why I am so fat. My problem is when I am home alone. The sweets don't bother me. But oh, the salty, crunchy things do call out to me. Give me a big ol' bag of ruffles and some of my homemade chip dip and I could eat the whole thing and be perfectly happily. Thank goodness my band helps me control those urges now! As far as fast food, I used to like it, but now it just tastes like I am eating a pile of grease. I can't stand it anymore. georgia girl 35 Posted December 9, 2007 Sweets have always been my downfall..........once I started, I couldn't stop. I was feeling lousy today, so I bought some pre-made fudge from the bakery at the grocey store. I used to could eat the whole container, but I couldn't even finish one. It was sooooo sweet, I nearly gagged. I should feel blessed that I'm not craving sweets anymore, but I really wanted to eat them all. LOL

I'd wait until everyone went to bed and pig out because the side salad I ordered just wasn't cutting it.
