ShoppGirl 4,975 Posted March 19, 2021 Not only do I not love the food once it’s been puréed but I am also nervous that I am not making it mushy enough while not wanting to make it mushy at all. This is just NOT a very fun stage. Any tips or recipes would be appreciated.
ms.sss 15,708 Posted March 19, 2021 I skipped the puree stage altogether....stayed on full liquids an extra week, then straight to soft foods. I tried to puree some beef once, took look and a whiff at the stuff, and was all um, no thanks. Though I did have cottage cheese as well as scrambled eggs made with lots of milk. 1 ShoppGirl reacted to this
catwoman7 11,220 Posted March 19, 2021 check out this blog. She's a long-time vet and has been really active in the bariatric community for the last several years. She's is (or was) on the board of the Obesity Action Coalition, for one -- was also very active on internet forums at one time (may have been on BP at one time, too - I can't remember other than she used to post on forums a lot back when I had my surgery). She also loves cooking and has recipes on here for every stage: http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/ 1 ShoppGirl reacted to this
