Creekimp13 5,840 Posted March 13, 2021 I do love me some green beans! Hit these guys with a little sesame oil, some minced garlic, some balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Crack Beans. Love them. If you have some lean ham or turkey bacon, dice it up and throw it in. Have leftovers? Throw them in a potato and green bean Soup. Can't go wrong with these...and you can get the nice pretty tender little whole beans frozen at Aldi on the cheap. Enjoy! 2 Kris77 and chiquitatummy reacted to this
Creekimp13 5,840 Posted March 13, 2021 I use the Aldi brand of extra tiny beans....they're young beans..skinny, more tender, easier to chew well. And incredibly delicious. 1 Crystalmoon reacted to this

BigSue 1,392 Posted March 13, 2021 Those look delicious! I love green Beans. My favorite frozen green beans are Steamfresh (I don't steam them in the bag, though). I also got some good ones from Trader Joe's for a great price. 1 Creekimp13 reacted to this

Arabesque 7,414 Posted March 14, 2021 I eat green Beans almost every day (with asparagus, sugarsnap peas & broccolini). I’m spoilt, I have access to fresh green bean all year round - my family grows a lot of beans. 😉 I usually just microwave them with a little Water & butter. So yummy. I love them with garlic & a splash of sesame oil too. Delicious raw too. Crunchy goodness. 1 Creekimp13 reacted to this
lizonaplane 1,613 Posted June 23, 2021 I like to roast green Beans or haricots verts with some olive oil, salt, pepper, and sometimes grated parm in a 425F oven for 10-12 minutes, turning once. I make about 12-16 oz of beans at once and it's like three servings, which reheat well in the microwave (I'm presurgery).
