Any April 2021 surgeries?!

Recommended Posts

I was taking them as well but stopped. I am so bad about taking stuff. Im taking the gummies for hair and also the multi Vitamin by them. I find it much easier to take gummies instead of the chews. My weight loss is slow I’m down around 60lbs. Seems like I have stalls but I still lose inches. I’m ok with it coming off slowly. I’m worried about loose skin. So far so good.

I am also losing slow but I am okay with that too. It is just so weird when I try on clothes and can fit in to a smaller size but the scale hasn’t moved in weeks.

I just ordered a pair of junior jeans and thought to myself they’ll be pants I work to get into. They came in and I tried them on and they fit loosely! I was shocked :)

Hey everyone!

How's it going for everybody during currently? We're nearing 6 month for many of us, hows the experience been so far?

My surgery was April 23rd and I’m down 50 lbs, started at 206. Slow going but going. I got stuck in the 160s for a while. No big issues, just when I eat too fast. I’m happy I had the surgery; it changed my life.

Hi everyone, I guess i can say im doing good. But there's always room for progress. Im thankful that i am not experiencing any Hair loss.< span class="ipsEmoji">🙏 Im still trying to get use to taking the horse pills everyday 😩...One thing I can say is it feels good to say "NO MORE PLUS SIZE FOR ME". Currently i can wear a size 11/12 in fashion nova jeans. 😄 I haven't been in this size since since the age of 26 yrs😁. One thing I hate is that my farts smell awful @ times🙈. Also I hate the fact that my ass which I mean literally has shrunk.😩and I want it back. Hopefully, I dnt lose anymore.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
