First Broth! Yea!!!!!

This is the first time I could have something besides Water and Propel . . . and I'm having chicken broth for breakfast! I think it's the most wonderful thing in the WORLD . . . things will go uphill from here!

I was banded on the 4th, and the first taste of broth was wonderful!!! I am drinking things I hated before - V-8 juice and those liquid yogurts.....I hate mashed potatoes, but am looking forward to those as well.

Ahhh, I remember those days. Each time you pass from one eating stage to the next, and you have that first taste of something in the new stage, you feel as though you have literally died and gone to heaven. It is wonderful!

Along with the broth I really found the "cream of whatever" Soups really tasty as well. So far since banding earlier this week I've had cream of celery and cream of mushroom. Both were delicious. I think it has something to do with the spices or something. I'm craving FLAVOR.

My favourite at the moment is chicken + vege Soup (with the chunks taken out) with a dash of curry powder - mmmmmmmm love curries.

damn . . . I only graduated to broth and Jello and popscicles today . . . I WANT CREAM Soup TOO! (but not until Monday for me - boo hoo)
