Jennie4315 10 Posted March 4, 2021 I am having surgery on March 30th can anyone please tell me what’s the best Protein Powder to get please
kellym1220 474 Posted March 4, 2021 I would say do not over-invest! I bought every Protein Powder known to man and recommended on here. You should try and get samples to figure out what you like...not just buy them all willy-nilly! (Like me!). My favorite, though, is GENEPRO which is pretty much flavorless and can be mised with almost anything (refried Beans, SF Jello, any recipe) to boost Protein. I also use Premier Protein or Fairlife vanilla pre-mixed in my coffee each morning. Good luck!!

catwoman7 11,220 Posted March 4, 2021 you're bound to get 100 different answers here because people's tastes are so different. I'd buy a few sample packs and see what you like - better that than spending $30 or more on a big tub of something that you end up hating. my favorites were Syntrax and Unjury products. I drink Fit Frappe and Quest sometimes now, but those two aren't the best choices for new pre-ops because they're not made from whey Protein isolate (Syntrax and Unjury ARE made from whey protein isolate - as are a few other brands). The other two I mentioned - and several others out there - are protein blends or protein concentrates (and sometimes something else). Those are fine once you're getting most/all of your protein requirements met through food, but early out, whey protein isolate is usually your best option since we absorb that form of protein pretty easily.
