I had sashimi (which I never liked before surgery) about 4 weeks post-op. I ordered the appetizer portion, which was about 3 oz (9 pieces). I was only able to eat 6 at first, but can now eat all of it, plus one eel piece with rice. I am also sensitive to soy, so I use coconut aminos with a lot of wasabi. I'm going to try and make a soy free soy sauce this weekend (using beef Bone Broth and spices), I hope it works out!!
