chiquitatummy 338 Posted March 3, 2021 GIRL YES. My surgery was on 2/23 and I cannot believe how exhausted I have been. Overall I feel way better than I thought I would and haven't had issues with getting Protein or Water in so it's not that. I think it must just be the combo of my body needing to heal and being on such low calories. Today was the first day I felt like I could actually take a walk around the block. I was so winded when I got back and needed a nap right away. I'm also really exhausted after I "eat a meal". I conk out for 30-45 minutes as soon as I am done with my 3 ounces of Protein Shake. 1 catwoman7 reacted to this

It takes a few weeks to get over that, but you will! 1 chiquitatummy reacted to this
Arabesque 7,414 Posted March 4, 2021 Oh yeah. I spent a lot of time resting on my couch after surgery. Your body’s going through a bit post surgery, recovery from the surgery & healing plus your eating very few calories. Listen to your body if it says it need to rest or nap.Nana naps are the best. 2 WishMeSmaller and Velvet Anne reacted to this
KayBee1972 13 Posted March 7, 2021 I'm 4 weeks post op and still find myself taking a daily nap. I wasn't really a napping kind of person before unless I was low on sleep, not it seems like I need a nap regardless of how well I've slept. Hope this wears off soon. I mean, I was probably napping 3-4 times a day for the first couple of weeks, so I guess 1 nap per day is an improvement.
Neensyb 111 Posted March 7, 2021 I am 9 weeks post surgery today and it's only just becoming obvious how my body is reacting to the nutrition. If I short change myself in nutrients, miss my multi Vitamin, don't get at least 2 litres of Fluid, I feel absolutely exhausted. I am lucky to work from home and I'm going to book a 30 minute power nap at midday just after lunch so I can continue to recover well.
