emilyp 5 Posted February 27, 2021 Hello all! I’m Emily, and this is my very first post on this forum. My mom introduced the site to me last month after she had her gastric sleeve, and I just recently had mine; 2 days ago to be exact. I’m still in a massive amount of shock that I actually did this for myself. I’m adjusting pretty well, and thankfully I haven’t had Protein Shakes taste too funky yet. I just wanted to introduce myself. I hope all of you have a wonderful day! :) 2 2 Cantstop1977, SummerTimeGirl, WishMeSmaller and 1 other reacted to this

LisaZar 4 Posted February 27, 2021 Hi Emily my sleeve surgery was on 2/23 so not too much ahead of you. I have to say I am still pretty sore, but also still happy with my choice. The first day I came home from the hospital, I had the frothys and could not keep anything down. Each day since has gotten better. Today is day four and I am up to two Premier Protein shakes and a Protein Water sipped very very slowly. Tylenol extra strength and an ice pack on my belly are also sanity savers. I hope you are doing well too.

I had some trapped air so it’s been a bit of challenge to get comfortable, but overall I can’t complain. I can’t believe I did it, but I think it’ll be the best decision of my life. I’m happy with the choice I made, too. 1 LisaZar reacted to this
