Tim C 336 Posted February 23, 2021 I bought some dry mouth spray for surgery day. Did the hospital let anyone chew SF gum in the hospital after surgery? Crazy question but you can get an answer to just about anything on here! Thanks
Neensyb 111 Posted February 23, 2021 They say no gum. Gum makes you swallow small amounts of air and will create tummy pain. I'm not sure if you have them in the US, but here in Australia we have listerine strips. They are about a half cm square in size, and like a tiny little piece of shiny paper. It's mint and it dissolves on your tongue.

Hop_Scotch 1,632 Posted February 23, 2021 I have an issue that causes dry mouth, I took some spray with me in case my mouth was drier than usual, but in the end I managed quite well with just ice chips, fluids (as I progessed) and lipbalm
