Hello!!! I'm currently pre-op with Dr. Jawad. I started my initial consultation on 2/5 and my surgery was scheduled today for 5/28. My process went fast and smooth also quick approval with my insurance Cigna.

I'm still waiting for the approval. Why they scheduled your surgery too far? Is it the first available?

The first date available was on 5/25.

Oh shoot! I really don’t want to wait that long! That will mess up my whole summer semester of teaching Clinicals. Maybe they will get a cancellation. Fingers crossed!

My surgery is scheduled for June 1st. I didn’t want to wait that long but it’s probably best in the long run as I make the lifestyle changes needed. Keeping a positive outlook!

You should see dr Wiljon Beltre in Orlando. I had my surgery May 12th 2021, now it’s two weeks later and I’m down 17 lbs & I’m in my 50’s. He’s great and has done thousands of bariatric surgeries over the last 20 years. He’s very confident and I was out of the hospital after only one day. His prices were the most reasonable of all.
