Jnfinney 527 Posted February 4, 2021 I was craving pizza and had some necessary ingredients in the kitchen. This is by no means “healthy” but it did satisfy the craving with much fewer calories. 1 low carb tortilla, 3 tbsp pizza sauce, a handful of shredded mozzarella (I like the tumaros tortillas) 2 lizonaplane and KidaandRoux reacted to this
ecugsplgrl 34 Posted February 4, 2021 I have done this with mini naan bread from Aldi. very good!
JMJames92 115 Posted February 4, 2021 This reminds me of when I was a few weeks post-surgery and on the pureed food stage of my diet. I was really craving pizza so I took some cheese, pizza sauce, pepperonis, and a low carb tortilla and put it in a magic bullet and blended it up. The texture was very weird but it actually didn't taste too bad. It definitely satisfied the craving. 1 lizonaplane reacted to this
Jnfinney 527 Posted February 4, 2021 @JMJames92 I am a big texture person when it comes to food, so I know I’ll struggle with purées. However, I’ve seen lots of recipes for a ricotta bake, which I imagine would give a similar flavor, so that is one recipe I plan to try out.

There is a lot of food I won't eat because of texture. During the pureed stage I basically survived off of this Vanilla Custard recipe along with banana baby food. Me and my sister are weird and have eaten banana baby food our whole lives haha. It tastes really good! 2 lizonaplane and Jnfinney reacted to this

I'd totally incorporate that now lol

In a pinch it would work with regular Pasta (maybe chicken pea pasta now) if out of lasagna noodles.
