vcruz591 1 Posted February 1, 2021 Hi i had surgery more then a year and half. I still feel hunger all the time. And then when it comes to wanting to drink I feel to full like I going to make myself sick. Some foods still make me throw up unfortunately so i learned to stay away from acidic foods which is hard I love anything Pasta and pizza. And no I make it the healthy way. lol. Now I make the sauce with more diced tomatoes. I have fainting spells. Sometimes my body feels heavy. I am wondering if this is normal to still have symptoms. I haven't gone to my yearly appointment this july due to the pandemic and now there booked for awhile.
NovaLuna 710 Posted February 1, 2021 Have your regular PCP run labs to check your Vitamin levels. You may have a deficiency that's causing the fainting. If I can't get in to see the bariatric surgeon (who is an hour and half away btw) then I just call up my PCP. She's ordered labs for me twice already. Some of your symptoms (to me) seem like they'd be caused by a vitamin deficiency or even a malnutrition issue. It's important to find out what's going on so that you don't end up in the hospital if it gets progressively worse. I hope everything works out for you! 1 Arabesque reacted to this
vcruz591 1 Posted February 4, 2021 Thanks for that. Thankfully I have my annual physical next month. They require blood work before that. So I just called them to include Vitamins.
