heather113076 0 Posted December 5, 2007 I will be starting weight watchers as my "medically supervised diet" for BCBS of Alabama. I will go to my first meeting on Dec 6 and continue for the next 6 months! I went to my regular doctor today to make sure she can and will do the "supervision" of the diet and she said yes. I am glad b/c I really love her-she is a great doctor and a wonderful person! Anyhow I have my first consultation with my lap band doctor on Jan 16. My sister is going to-we work at the same place, we attended the seminar together as well. We are doing this journey together. I am very excited and just anxious for July to arrive!! Today I weighed in at 348 and my BMI is 57. I would like to get down to 140 but Im not sure that is realistic-what do you all think?
georgia girl 35 Posted December 5, 2007 Hi Heather! Welcome to LBT! My starting weight was close to your, 330lbs. I've set my goal weight as 150lbs. When I get to my goal, I may decide to lose more, who know's what I'll look like at 150lbs. I think it is realistic for you to set a goal of 140lbs. Good luck with your supervised diet and take care.
