Question about Lapband to sleeve in Mexico

I'm looking into getting a revision and no longer have insurance that will cover it. Has anyone gone through Dr.Elias Ortiz or Dr. Almanza in Tijuana for their revision? What was your experience?

I'm not sure if it's the same Dr. Almanza, but there was a class action lawsuit against a Dr. Almanza in Tijuana three or four years ago. I don't know anything right off hand about Dr. Ortiz (haven't heard anything one way or the other that I can remember) - but I'd do a lot of research before picking someone. There ARE a lot of good surgeons in Mexico, so you should be able to find someone..

I had my gastric sleeve surgery in Tijuana Mexico with Obesity Not For Me. I also had 4 friends to it there. They were really good, hospital was great and clean.
