Suzi_the_Q 257 Posted January 9, 2021 I know this sounds weird, but I feel like fat is *actually* coming out through my pores: my skin is super soft and it feels like I've put lotion on when I haven't. My husband noticed too. Is this a thing? I'm not complaining mind you, it's just really odd, especially given that it's winter. I know that in some extreme diets you're not allowed to use conditioner or lotions because it absorbs in the skin (supposedly).
GradyCat 3,695 Posted January 9, 2021 Oh that's very interesting. I'll be curious to see what others say. I don't have any experience with this.
Neensyb 111 Posted January 9, 2021 I totally understand what you are saying. I saw an immediate improvement in my skin, with it being more soft, no blemishes, and generally looks 100% better and more healthy. I am day 6 post surgery and I had comments from hubby about it too. Small wins.
Arabesque 7,429 Posted January 10, 2021 The skin on my body improved too. I used to have dry skin with bumps on my arms & my legs would get super itchy. Didn’t matter how much moisturiser I used or how much I exfoliated there was never a change. Now I have soft smooth skin. My legs still get a little itchy in odd occasions but no dry skin anywhere. It’s like the lotions are working now but I use less than half the amount I used too. Lol! I love my skin now. So soft. I often find i’m gently caressing the skin on my arms & legs. 😂. I’ve even had people compliment me on my skin. I think it’s because of the greatly reduced sugar & carbs in my diet. It’s a great non scale victory.
