Hungry or full? Plus incontinence

I am on day four after surgery. I am following the guidelines of 4oz per hour, but I have no clue whether I am feeling hungry or full? Like no idea at all! Is this normal? Also, this my be tmi but I am having issues with bowel incontinence for the last 2 days. Is this normal?

Trust the measurements now. Your body is still healing and adjusting from major surgery. You won't know the difference yet and likely is you won't feel hungry for a couple of weeks. Just measure and eat/drink and take care.

Constipation or diarrhoea is pretty common in the beginning. A friend wore disposable adult diapers for the first week (a suggestion from her surgeon) & she thanked God every day for them as she suffered bowel in continence too for the first week. I was fortunate & only had one bad attack like that. I got up to do a wee & uh oh! No control at all.
