Skin/Red Face 11 days post op

My skin on my face is angry. I have always tried to take care of my skin as best I could but since the surgery my face is just awful. I plan on mentioning this to my surgeon tomorrow at my post op appointment, but has anybody ever had these issues? Skin on my face is red and burning and flaking. I am moisturizing. Picture below

I had never heard of this but someone else recently posted about having a red, inflamed face and chest. She said her bariatric team referred to it as a "Sleeve blush" and apparently it's not uncommon. I'd definitely mention it to the surgeon and see what he/she says.

Somebody else in the last two weeks called it "sleeve blush" and said her surgeon's office told her it was semi-common. I had never heard of it before. I don't think it's anything to worry about, probably just annoying, but you can check with your doctor tomorrow for sure. I never had it.

sometimes dehydration an cause a person to flush and become red and splotchy and angry. It seems a little off but think about when a baby is sick and dehydrated, how red and dry their little faces get, same with adults. Are you getting enough fluids?
