Tb613 44 Posted December 10, 2020 I was thinking of making a charcuterie board for Christmas. It will definitely have chunks of turkey but what meats and cheese do you suggest adding that are bariatric friendly?Sent from my SM-G973W using BariatricPal mobile app

Sent from my SM-G973W using BariatricPal mobile app I love them.... so many options. I go to the meat counter and have them thinly sliced salami, pepperoni, prosciutto, I always add some cheeses ... blue cheese, brie, smoked gouda, throw in some cut strawberries, ripe cantaloupe, some olives, peppered mustard spread.... pepper jelly... and some thin crackers and some nuts..... Yummmmm 2 WishMeSmaller and bufbills reacted to this
Dadof5 22 Posted December 10, 2020 I know its probably because I am on day 8 of my pre-op diet. But that sounds like the most amazing thing ever! I may be on purred foods by Christmas. Maybe I can make a purred charcuterie board for then. 2 STLoser and bufbills reacted to this
kellym1220 474 Posted December 10, 2020 My only problem with the charcuterie board is....I LOVE IT TOO MUCH! I snacked the whole darn day...go in the kitchen, grab a bite of cheese and a small handful of nuts. 10 minutes later, some meat and cheese and a "healthy" cracker. Next time by, a couple of grapes and some cheese (mostly brie). It was delightful! I never felt too full...but I ate WAY too much over a period of about two hours. So my advice would be, make yourself a plate and step away from the charcuterie! 5 Dadof5, pdc1605, BayougirlMrsS and 2 others reacted to this
