Clumpy & Undissolved Click coffee & Protein

Recommended Posts

Has anyone been drinking the 15.31 oz. container of Click all in one coffee & Protein Drink Mix. I made a cup of percolated coffee and added the drink mix to the coffee twice. Both times it did not stay dissolved. I stirred forever and as soon as I stopped it was all clumpy again. This also happened to the pumpkin Spice Latte drink mix. Both drinks were gross and I had to strain them three times and what was in the strainer was gross looking too. Does anybody know did adding these drink mixes into the coffee cause this problem? I have not tried just making the drink mix without the percolated coffee. I get the hot chocolate drink mix and put it into the coffee and it completely dissolves and is delicious. I thought these other two drinks would do the same thing. They were expensive and I would hate to have to throw them away.

a lot of Protein powders (maybe all?) do that when whatever you're mixing it with is too hot (I think over 140 degrees). I've never mixed them with coffee - so someone else may have a tip on how to do that (other than waiting for the coffee to cool down a bit, that is). I did drink a lot of Unjury chicken Soup protein a few years ago, though - and I had to add hot Water (although not too hot) other than boiling water - otherwise that would clump, too.

+1 on hot water causing the protein to clump. I use a milk frother when mixing Hot Drinks. It can also help to mix the protein with room temp water to make a slurry, then mix in the hot drink.

Thank you both for replying. I was very tempted to through out the container but did hold onto it just in case someone replied. I do not want to use the milk so I will try room temp Water and adding it to the coffee afterwards and see if that makes a difference. I do like the flavor so I will give it a try tomorrow.

One of the most delicious drinks. This will certainly help you, it is paramount to use Water no higher than room temperature, otherwise lumps can not be avoided.
And yet, with milk it will be much tastier.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
