MzLisa 3 Posted December 4, 2020 I am approaching my clear liquid day and have nectar Roadside Lemonade and fuzzy navel powders. Are they considered Clear Liquids? I don’t want to buy a clear bottles shake if I already have something I enjoy in my cabinet.
Hop_Scotch 1,633 Posted December 4, 2020 Is there any residue when made up? Are they clear to see through when made up? If it isn't clear on your pre-op guidelines that they are allowed or not may be worth a call to your surgeon's or dietician's office to clarify.
GradyCat 3,695 Posted December 4, 2020 Yes, they sound clear. Even orange sugar free Jello is "clear." I think you just can't have red dye because it looks like blood inside.

Clear Liquids includes coffee, but NOT with cream or milk of any kind. Apple juice is clear, but OJ is not. Popsicles and Jello are clear liquids. pudding is not. Generally, Nectars are not clear. Plain broth is clear. So hold your drinks up and see if you can see through them. If not, save them for post op. 1 RhondaHigdon reacted to this
