Tomo 1,195 Posted September 9, 2022 Could the cheese crisps be considered an easy to chew food? I just found out from my dietitian's office that I can't have Water crackers yet because they are too dry and crunchy still. Oh and, I have VERY bad luck with parchment paper, last time I tried to use it in the oven it caught on fire, so I'm really scared to use it in the Air Fryer. Can you explain how to make cheese crisps?I was allowed cheese very early on due to it being easy to chew and swallow.

Tomo 1,195 Posted September 10, 2022 Awesome! Can you explain how to make cheese crisps? There are recipes online but the one I use is I pre heat oven to 400F, put little small heaps of shredded cheese. Like 24 little piles, separated from each other cause they spread out as they melt. I always use parchment paper. I once used aluminum foil, and that was mess lol. Bake in pre-heated oven until golden brown, about 6 to 7 minutes. Let it cool for 10 minutes before eating. They keep very well in a sealed container. 1 Jojo99 reacted to this

Puphands 0 Posted December 30, 2023 Yesterday I tried a teaspoon of hummus on top of my cottage cheese and it was surprisingly tasty. It's also quite good with the chopped boiled egg.
Rabella Rob 4 Posted March 23, 2024 You can have Pasta, and the better way to make it a little bit healthier with some veggies thrown i. I've tried a couple so far like mushrooms, bell peppers, and cherry tomatoes with cheese.< /span>

Someone on YouTube recommended them, but I'm not sure if they'd be allowed or if it'd too many carbs, or whatever. I'm curious for when I get to the stage. Too many carbs and empty calories unfortunately.

Calli 20 Posted June 21, 2024 I think the ‘no’ on crackers is more to do that it sticks together once in your pouch and can cause a clog. I would agree sticking to straight up hummus is better.
