abiebaby 24 Posted November 25, 2020 I'm only only 5 months post op (sleeve), but I had to post this! HW 308, SW 288, and current weight 198! Yes!!! I've made it to onederland!I know I haven't had as much to lose as some others might have, but this is really exciting! Haven't been this weight since I was 14! It's been a hard road, and it ain't over yet (well, it never will be, really), but it's great to finally be here!Plenty of NSVs along the way! No more meds for blood pressure, cholesterol, and triglycerides. No more snoring at night. Went from a tight size 44 waist to a loose 34. GradyCat 3,695 Posted November 26, 2020 Way to go! Did you take a photo of the scale in Onederland? Most of us do. It's an exciting day! Woot-Woot! 1 jfc193 reacted to this

jfc193 718 Posted November 26, 2020 Very impressive Keep up the good work. Losing weight during Covid and the Holidays takes dedication For me one of the mantra that I tried to follow is the the 80 / 20 rule. 80% of the time make good choices and 20% take the freedom to enjoy a treat or indulge (small Portion) of some item that you have not had in a while. Today I have many things to be Thankful for
abiebaby 24 Posted November 26, 2020 I actually have stayed on the wagon, for the most part. I have found decent substitutes for most of my weakness foods. Will occasionally have sugar free jelly bellies to take care of my candy fix (I also use Bariatric Advantage multi chews for my Vitamins and calcium). I make cakes out of almond flour and splenda/stevia for occasional Snacks. Get my potato chip fixe from Quest Protein chips, and my candy bar/cookie fix from Protein Bars (mostly quest, but some kirkland as well). There are some things I don't think I'll ever be able to substitute, such as pizza. I've tried making an almond flour crust and cauliflower crust, and they're just not the same. Maybe after a year or 2 I'll be willing to have half a slice, I'm just scared of having anything that may end up being a slider food for me.I sometimes get into food doldrums, but they're manageable so far. We'll have to see how it works for the long term, but I am committed to making this stick. Sent from my SM-G986U using BariatricPal mobile app

(and the non-weight watching fam likes it too, lol). 3 ingredients: chicken, cheese & egg. #yum

I decided that it will be my Thanksgiving dinner (well, 1/3 of it), so I’m planning to try it tonight! It will be my first pizza since July 1 (pizza was my last meal before my pre-op diet), so I do hope it’s good!
