RTL1234 99 Posted December 12, 2020 So exciting everyone! Hoping everybody who had surgery this week is feeling good and healing well! I just got all my instructions for the big day (22nd), mine is outpatient so I’m grateful for that. However, I’m super scared now because hubby is not allowed to stay there. It’s drop off, surgery recover usually 8-9 hours and then he can come back and get me. I’m not used to that. Any major surgery I’ve ever had he has been right there when I woke up. So I’m just very nervous to be at it alone, with nurses I don’t know. I wish he could come so bad! 1 MzLisa reacted to this
RAINE79 3 Posted December 12, 2020 I am having VGS surgery on The 15th. I’m excited, nervous, hopeful, and terrified. And all those emotions take place within a min when I’m thinking about next Tuesday!! Lol I’m nervous about the post~surgery pain, I have a really low pain tolerance. But then I remind myself of the end goal here. Better health, confidence, and cute clothes!! 😂 1 RTL1234 reacted to this

My surgery was the 9th and I hope to go home today. FaceTime helps Edited December 12, 2020 by MzLisa 1 RTL1234 reacted to this

Nardy0315 0 Posted December 12, 2020 I recently had surgery Dec 7th for bypass. It went well. Just some advise, only drink 1-2 oz of liquid/water the first 5 days. They say little sips. Well, I took a lot of little sips and went back to hospital for 2 days. Dumping the day after surgery is not a good idea everyone. Learn from me. Slow and steady wins the race!! It is a challenge for sure. You will be tested hourly, even minute by minute sometimes as I am learning.
