skinnyfeelsgood 2 Posted November 9, 2020 I am 17 days VSG post op, and I find myself feeling hungry and thinking about food... I was wondering if this is normal or does my carbohydrate count have this result in my body? Thank you in advance.... Deb9386 110 Posted November 9, 2020 I'm 17 days post op and quite often "hungry" and thinking about food. But it isn't hunger in my stomach, it's definitely in my head. And I'm also thinking about food - specifically food with a crunch as I'm on the puree stage and missing food textures. I've seen other posts where people say they have head hunger so it's probably quite normal. 1 skinnyfeelsgood reacted to this
Manyloves 19 Posted November 9, 2020 Im 18 days and have no appetite for anything, not even liquids. Unfortunately it makes me quite sick, so not sure which is better, hoping it all goes away soon.

Bobbifaces 10 Posted November 9, 2020 I am 11 days post-op. I find myself having cravings and “head hunger “ as well. I’m really working on analyzing “Am I really hungry or just having a craving”. I’ve had a bad relationship with food in my adult life due to food being locked up as a child. If I don’t change how I think then I may see a therapist to help work it out.
