Brittanyanne12 16 Posted November 1, 2020 (edited) So I had surgery on Oct 26th, have been doing really well post OP so far, but I have really strange pains that feel like the center of my shoulder blades when I eat/drink sometimes? Not one specific food or drink that does it, and I cant imagine its restriction because it often comes on the first bite. Also I am taking like super tiny bites of whatever I'm eating, Jello, broth etc.. I also take very small drinks.. It usually passes pretty quickly, bit it's pretty painful.. Sandra Nuelken 419 Posted November 1, 2020 Try eating and drinking slower. I bought myself children's flatware to use when I eat. They are stainless so I feel like a grown-up and eat very slowly. I take 30 - 40 min. for 4 oz of meat.
2Bsmaller18 436 Posted November 2, 2020 I am almost 2 years out and I get that once in awhile if I eat or drink too quickly. It will improve with time.
