mjp9281 7 Posted October 28, 2020 I can’t believe surgery day is tomorrow, I’m a little anxious about what’s to follow after surgery. (Mainly the pain) 2 1 Soundtracklover, RainbowBrite57 and GreenTealael reacted to this
Circlesis 59 Posted October 28, 2020 Good luck to you and it is totally normal to feel anxiety right now. Resolve to stay on top of your pain meds (take them by the clock) this will help you keep control of any pain.
catwoman7 11,220 Posted October 28, 2020 actually, most people report little to no pain with these surgeries -- although they'll send you home with pain medication. If you're one of the people who does have pain from this, just take the meds when you're supposed to to keep on top of it. It'll just last the first few days, and the meds will help a lot. But the majority of us seem to have little pain from this - I had almost none. 1 Soundtracklover reacted to this

ScarlettMomOf6 1 Posted October 28, 2020 Congrats and much less pain than i expected. If you take pain meds be sure to use stool softner. The pre-op diet had me messed up so after surgery the meds made me worse. Sent from my LM-Q730 using BariatricPal mobile app
