Kittizia35 15 Posted October 27, 2020 Why do I feel like I have a stall every month? Is that possible? Maybe I'm not doing something right. This is frustrating at times. I try to stay off the scale but it's hard. Surgery 6/9/20 as of today 90lbs down. I feel like i should be losing more every month i stay at the same weight for maybe 2weeks or more smh. Hop_Scotch 1,632 Posted October 27, 2020 Regardless of weight loss surgery you (and the majority of the rest of us) will not lose weight every week or month. Our bodies are not machines and we don't work to precise timelines. You've lost 90lb in nearly five months, that is an excellent amount of weight to have lost in that time - even more excellent if you consider your stalls. Set yourself some realistic goals, know that you are not alone in achieving a weight loss every week or month, be kind to yourself. 3 GivinItMyALL, NetNet254 and Kittizia35 reacted to this
chunkarella 59 Posted October 27, 2020 90 lbs in 5 months isn't anything to balk at. that's fantastic!! and i understand the feeling of "i should be losing more!" but your body is doing just what it should. it's still adjusting to this new lifestyle and all the changes. you're 5 mo into a new lifestyle after spending years in another -- give yourself time. you're losing almost 20lbs a month.. that's fantastic. also, try to not compare yourself to others on this forum. i tend to do that and it makes me upset.. however, you got this. just keep at your pace and you'll hit your goal. also, if you're afraid that you're stalling, change up your diet to include less carbs/more protein.. or just increase your intensity with your workouts. when i get back on track w/my diet, i tend to lose quicker. 2 Kittizia35 and NetNet254 reacted to this
