It's time. 145 Posted October 18, 2020 Boy do I feel guilty. I've been so good for 4 months and stayed on program... until today! I offered to make Halloween cut out Cookies with my 3.5 year old granddaughter. We had a great time, but I ended up eating 3 large ones, which snowballed into left over pizza. ugh.... I have learned my lesson, NO cookies or pizza in the house at all and I will get back on track tomorrow, but I wonder how I could lose control so easily. 2 NetNet254 and Sammi_Katt reacted to this
The Greater Fool 2,054 Posted October 18, 2020 Just a wild guess on how you could do such a horrible, horrible thing... You're human. And I'd bet you make killer Cookies. And you got caught up in the moment. And you are getting right back on the horse. THIS is the lesson. We should all screw up once in 4 months. You will be OK, Tek 6 NetNet254, newyorklady20, Wichita Gal and 3 others reacted to this

You will be OK, Tek That hits the nail on the head. You realize you made a mistake and you're taking care of it. You're a human. It's okay to screw up once in a while, even more so since you've acknowledged it and are willing to keep trying. 4 Neller, lisafrommassachusetts, NetNet254 and 1 other reacted to this
Danny Paul 761 Posted October 19, 2020 Physically, how did you feel after eating the Cookies and pizza? I would have felt sick. I still can't handle too many sweet today. I get a queasy feeling. 1 NetNet254 reacted to this
1000islandgirl 61 Posted October 19, 2020 Hi, I'm pre-op so no advice here lol. Just a question. Did you have trouble afterwards? Dumping? 1 NetNet254 reacted to this
NetNet254 2 Posted October 21, 2020 You are going to have days like this, but you recognized it. I quit smoking 10 years ago, I've a a few since then but it always reminds me why I quit. I am also curious to know how you felt afterwards. I do plan to make a slice of pizza or a cookie a planned part of my diet. I hope I can eat them. bufbills 316 Posted October 21, 2020 I think thats just part of having grandchildren. Great memories, and fun for them. Now get back in there, and wait for Christmas to slip up again.

Fitsoon 1 Posted October 21, 2020 I agree with the 'first time in 4 months' person that said - :ha, we should all be so good to only slip up or go off the plan 1x every 4 months!" Enjoy your grandkiddos and Celebrate how much good you have done for yourself and what you learned through this one. Best wishes to you!! 1 NetNet254 reacted to this
