I make a minced chicken plus Beans chilli mix. Quiches. Lentil Soup. Lupin soup mix. Savoury mince. meat loaf I dont enjoy cooking so do use products that allow me to easily consume protein plus veges and other nutrition. 1 GreenTealael reacted to this

Arabesque 7,418 Posted October 13, 2020 My surgeon told me not to worry too much at first but to really work at it once I was eating solid foods. I struggled with Protein powders & shakes so found some high protein yogurts & could get in up to 30g if I sipped on a drink version throughout the day. I cut it with a small amount of 100% fruit no added sugar juice -about 50mls- as it was a little thick (also added silica & collagen). Some days I’d only eat meat for lunch & dinner to get my protein in especially in the first couple of months. I had an egg for Breakfast most mornings. Remember eat your protein first then some vegetables if you can. 1 GreenTealael reacted to this
Pookyl 34 Posted October 13, 2020 Thanks. I’m managing to get in 1.8 Litres of Fluid a day and 60-70g of Protein a day at the moment. I’m still on fluids for another week (then soft diet) so getting in my protein via Protein Shakes that I make using flavoured protein powder. I think next week I’ll substitute one meal at a time with all of your suggestions.
