It should not affect your surgery unless: 1) It's the night before surgery; or 2) you tell your surgeon.

But, don't make a habit of 'oops'ing.

I'm sure at some point you promised yourself you would do it right, this time. Time to follow through on this promise.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, then kick yourself in the ass and get on plan.

My surgeon had a two week all liquid pre-op diet. Because of Covid, my surgery got cancelled and I ate Italian and Mexican food over the weekend (I was hangry and had been doing all liquid for 1 week). Then they called on Monday and said they could get me in THAT Thursday, which was earlier than my original date! I told them what I had done and they told me to not worry about it but don't cheat again.

The surgeon said I did very good on the prep! I'm not sure if the office staff clued him in on my big cheat!
