Vateacher2016 2 Posted October 5, 2020 I am 2 weeks post- op. Stage 2- I have been getting liquids and foods in quickly and it isn't taking 30-45mins. Is this a bad sign?
ChubRub 1,709 Posted October 5, 2020 No worries! Get those liquids in! When you move on to solids you will feel restriction!
IWantTheDream 179 Posted October 5, 2020 I am 13 weeks out and I have had no problems drinking as much as I want since surgery but I can not eat more then 3 1/2 oz or I am in pain. So I think this is pretty normal for some people. food is definitely more restrictive and I for one measure and weight everything to 3 oz so I can eat and don’t worry about being in pain from over eating. Congratulations by the way for the journey to the new you!
maslman 65 Posted October 5, 2020 Agreed, I definitely feel it way more when I eat something as opposed to drinking.
catwoman7 11,220 Posted October 5, 2020 no - I was always able to drink more than I was supposedly able to, and I was fine. I mean, I didn't chug, but I could certainly drink things in less time than I said I'd be able to. And I definitely felt restriction once I got to solid foods.
