theresa_w 0 Posted December 3, 2007 I stumbled upon the website while checking into any and all information about the lap band. I am in the process of getting things in order to have the paper work sent to my insurance company. FINGERS crossed, all will go well and we will know something soon. I am a Kindergarten Teacher's Assistant and I drive a bus for my school. I enjoy my job and kids, but cannot get into the floor and do as much as I could before. I want to change all of that. The lap band is the way I choose to go. I am looking forward to learning about this website and how it works. I am curious about the ticker and how it works. I am looking forward to meeting some of you. Theresa
SmallerMe 0 Posted December 3, 2007 I'm also waiting for ins approval. I hope for surgery in January. So, we're starting our journey about the same time.

It's getting easier everyday. Good luck and I hope your insurance goes through quickly.
