Moe2175 0 Posted September 26, 2020 Hi, I just had my conversion to bypass from sleeve two days ago and today I had my first vowel movement. Great I thought! Now, rather than passing gas I run to the bathroom just in case it’s not. I’ve had about 3-4 small bouts of loose stools today. Is this normal at all? The Greater Fool 2,054 Posted September 26, 2020 I called them vowel movements until I was about 12. Took me back. I find a couple turns on the legs tighten those stools right up. Early post-op it's difficult to predict much with any accuracy. Things will settle eventually. Good luck, Tek
AZhiker 2,253 Posted September 26, 2020 19 months out and I sill have loose stools, 5-8 per day. Sill a lot of gas, too. They are getting darker in color but still float, so I know fat malabsorption is still an issue.
