solaa5 0 Posted December 2, 2007 I've always had a gym membership, but I have hired a trainer and I am doing cardio and weights four times a week. What are the rest of you doing?
solaa5 0 Posted December 2, 2007 By the way, my main motivation (and the reason I got the surgery WHEN I did) is because I will be in a wedding early next year and I need to look like a normal sized bridesmaid.
Jachut 487 Posted December 2, 2007 Running four or five times a week for about 40 minutes. I do the occasional spin class or swim laps. Dont have time for much else. I had a good routine of circuit training going too, must get back to it. I do notice the difference in my body when I'm doing regular strength training. lindata 1 Posted December 2, 2007 I'm walking for an hour around 5 times/week. It's actually pretty tough - a lot of hilly terrain. And I do the recumbent (?) bike around 5 times a week for an hour too. Linda

steph_co 9 Posted December 3, 2007 I'm doing the T-Tapp basic workout (15 mins) on my days off...which was 3 days off this last week. Then I'm just doing all my walking at work. As soon as things calm down a little, I plan to get into running and would like to do that at least 5 times a week. Elle - I did a 1-mile walk 2 days after my surgery and continued with the walking before I went back to work. Then I did a real "workout" with T-Tapp this past Monday, which was 11 days post-op. None of it has been too bad. I'm kind of antsy to get moving, actually! Trying to take it easy just because I know I'm still healing.
Longhorn 1 Posted December 3, 2007 I was supposed to wait four weeks before I exercised so I just started yesterday. I'm using my recumbent exercise bike at first and then I'll graduate to my elliptical and/or home gym for strength training. Eventually, I'd like to start riding my bike again but I live in a pretty hilly area so it will take more muscle and stamina than I have now.
Sades 4 Posted December 3, 2007 I've done a couple of walks so far but need to get back into regular walking. Also I will go back to aqua aerobics in the new year.

nessa3678 0 Posted December 3, 2007 I joined curves two weeks ago and have been going three to four times a week. I really like it! I've been burning between 350-400 calories in just 30 minutes!! I am able to do this at lunch time and that is about the only time I have for exercise.
