JohnBear 5 Posted September 18, 2020 I had surgery on Sept 10, 2020. When I woke up, I expected to be in a lot of pain, but there was minimum pain! Yay! However, I am seriously exhausted! Now we wait and see what the weight does. I am at 251 this morning (9/18/2020). 4 Bari_KS, ChubRub, New Me, New Mind and 1 other reacted to this

I was also lucky and not in a lot of pain. I am hardly hungry... and I have been walking. It really does help the recovery. Good luck to you! 1 New Me, New Mind reacted to this
catwoman7 11,220 Posted September 19, 2020 I had almost no pain with this. In fact, that's fairly common (although some unlucky folks do experience pain...) 2 Bari_KS and New Me, New Mind reacted to this
Lynnlovesthebeach 626 Posted September 19, 2020 I had nerve blocks on both sides of my abdomen with my surgery. They were supposed to last 3 days. I never had any pain at all. Actually, my RNY is probably the easiest surgery I've ever had.
maslman 65 Posted September 19, 2020 I'm 3 days out from mine. I have some incision pain when I overdo it, but overall things have been good. I did notice this morning that I'm starting to feel more tired, but I'm sure that will pass as everything adjusts.Sent from my Pixel 3a using BariatricPal mobile app 1 New Me, New Mind reacted to this
JohnBear 5 Posted September 19, 2020 I just find it interesting that the laparoscopic surgery is as painless as it is. I had a massive hiatal hernia fixed at the same time. 1 New Me, New Mind reacted to this
JohnBear 5 Posted September 19, 2020 One additional thing. Does anyone’s stomach rumble all the time?
