JessDSeal 0 Posted September 18, 2020 Hello, I was wondering if your surgeon had restrictions on how soon you can exercise?
toodlerue 452 Posted September 18, 2020 Usually 6 weeks. Just like any other major surgery!
catwoman7 11,220 Posted September 18, 2020 I could walk right away. I was cleared to do most things at four weeks (except for weights). I had to wait eight weeks for weights. But like toodlerue said, that's pretty standard for any major surgery. I had similar restrictions when I had plastic surgery, too.
tarotcardreader 196 Posted September 21, 2020 Walking approved since surgery day. Other stuff depends on incisions. Some of mine reopen
chunkarella 59 Posted September 22, 2020 it was 6 weeks until i could do any heavy lifting, but walking was a-okay after surgery.. I didnt follow the rule for heavy lifting closer to the 4 week mark.. but only bc i had forgotten.
