tarotcardreader 196 Posted September 15, 2020 You feel this way due to calorie deficit. Calories give energy. Hang in there! 1 crystaldawn81 reacted to this

ChubRub 1,709 Posted September 15, 2020 Give it another 2-4 weeks! I was the same way! I took multiple naps per day, and was always exhausted. It finally went away, and I got my energy back! 1 crystaldawn81 reacted to this

sillykitty 10,776 Posted September 15, 2020 Looking into taking a B12 supplement. Either an injection from your surgeon's office, or an oral sublingual 3 Dogmom68, crystaldawn81 and GreenTealael reacted to this
crystaldawn81 13 Posted September 15, 2020 Looking into taking a B12 supplement. Either an injection from your surgeon's office, or an oral sublingual I do take B12 but maybe I should try the shot and see if it does better. Thank you!Sent from my SM-G970U using BariatricPal mobile app
Guest Posted September 15, 2020 I'm 3 months post ESG and average 60 grams Protein and around 700 calories daily. I too was feeling tired. I started a Water aerobics class and it has boosted my energy. It may be just from getting out of the house but it has worked for me. I did notice an increase in appetite the first several days but my appetite has returned to baseline.

Sent from my SM-G970U using BariatricPal mobile app My surgeons office recommends a nasal spray, Nascobel. You spray in one nostril once a week. After week one my energy was pretty good, and one less thing to worry about taking daily,

Unfortunately it wasn't covered by my otherwise good insurance??
Arabesque 7,442 Posted September 16, 2020 Oh, yeah I was the same. I’d nap just about every afternoon. I was so tired one day, I thought I was going to fall off my treadmill. I’m not a good sleeper but I’d be out for 8+ hours a night. The energy levels picked up at about 6 months when I started maintenance was eating more & added small amounts of whole or multi grains. Unfortunately this last month or so I’m back to sleeping poorly. 1 crystaldawn81 reacted to this
