Walking shoes recommendations

Recommended Posts

Walking shoes can be worn in everyday conditions and become a comfortable outfit when walking. Walking sneakers are not oriented by manufacturers to run. Consequently, the level of elasticity and cushioning leaves much to be desired. Another mistake is the purchase of shoes from unknown brands. The result may be micro-injuries of the knees, feet, and hip joints that have harmful effects on muscles and ligaments. At first, such problems will remain unnoticeable. My walking sneakers are yeezy boost 350, they are quite comfortable to walk in, and the most important thing is that the leg does not get tired. And what kind of walking shoes do you have?

Skechers are affordable and pretty comfortable. I wear hoka one one Clifford’s but they are pricey.

I’m a brooks fan through and through. I put arch supports under the sole. Love them. They are expensive but think about how much time you spend on your feet. It affects a lot. Your back, your gait, hip etc.
i love them. Good quality too
Like the others say it’s preference to each individual but that’s my two cents!😎

For me, it was a struggle to find something that didn't leave my feet feeling like they'd been through a marathon after just a short stroll.
So, like you, I hit the internet, scouring through endless lists of recommendations, hoping to strike gold. But man, those lists can be overwhelming, am I right?
I discovered that I had supination, constantly wearing through the sides of my shoes like nobody's business. It's frustrating, to say the least. But after much trial and error, I finally stumbled upon a nice pair of Nike shoes.
I'll be honest. At first, I was a bit skeptical. I mean, Nike has this rep for being all about style over substance, you know? But let me tell you, these shoes proved me wrong. They're like walking on clouds, seriously.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
