Guest Posted September 9, 2020 A like bit of history:. Procedure: ESG on June 19th Ht: 5 ft 7 in Age: 54 (female) HW: 194 SW:191 CW: 159 BMI: 24.8 Weight loss has been steady at 2 - 2.5 pounds/week (no stalls yet) but has started to slow. Daily intake is about 700 calories, low carb with 50-60 grams Protein. Started Water aerobics last week and now I find myself 'starving". Hunger had not been an issue until now. Any advise/tips? catwoman7 11,220 Posted September 9, 2020 Hunger does eventually come back for most of us - mine came roaring back during month 5. That may be what's going on. Or it may be your body wants more calories because it's now burning more calories..

That's the most likely one, especially since OP is at a normal weight. I sometimes wonder why people seem to be so surprised about our bodies wanting more food when energy expenditure goes up. It's perfectly natural and healthy for our bodies to crave higher energy intake then. I'm a bottomless pit after longer bike rides and while I agree that it can feel a bit scary sometimes I still think it's - well - normal! 2 catwoman7 and tarotcardreader reacted to this

summerset 5,265 Posted September 9, 2020 Avoiding a stall? You're currently starving a normal weight body on 700 cals a day while starting an exercise program.
Lily66 425 Posted September 9, 2020 (edited) Seems we have to find a Sweet Spot, where we can push exercise to max limit with the reduced calories we have to work with during weight loss phase, without setting our weight loss back. For me it’s a day by day adjustment. Edited September 9, 2020 by Lily66
