I had my surgery on 10/1 and everything went well. I'm healing fast and today I move on to the Puree Diet. I refuse to blend everything Lol, so my dietician and I came up with great alternatives for me. I am totally embracing my new journey. Good luck again to you and all Sleevers. 1 1 JoanneLaRusch and Latina Linda reacted to this

Orchidlover 4 Posted October 9, 2020 I won’t lie it’s been rough. This was or is my first surgery so I didn’t really know what to expect. The pain has often brought me to tears . I am able to get some liquids down so that’s good. Just praying all this will be worth it in the end. 2 JoanneLaRusch and Manyloves reacted to this

I’m trying I’ve just had to take time for myself. Sometimes I slink off to the bedroom, or I go for a car ride. I’ e expressed it to my family and surgeon that I’m getting nervous, and they have been supportive. It’s like sometimes I have no nervousness or anxiety about it, and then it just hits. Those are mostly the times that I like to be alone. Don’t know if that even helps, but it’s what I’ve had to do. 1 Glowup Jess reacted to this

Are you walking to help with the pain, and taking whatever pain meds they gave you? Good job getting your fluids down too!! It will get easier they tell us!! Believe in that.
