Today I start my week 2 diet which is my "puree" stage. I can have things like egg salad, some Beans, cottage cheese. I dont think I have ever been so happy to try new food. I guess being on a liquid diet for 2 weeks pre and 1 week post is really starting to get to me....

You wouldn’t believe how happy I was to eat tuna and I’m not a fan of it but it’s something other than liquids. 😂😂

Yes, I was the same way. Couldn't wait for the next phase, enough of the primarily Protein Shakes for every meal. Now I just have one for a snack from time to time to ensure I get enough Protein in. And trust me they will ask how much protein you are or think you are consuming.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
