JV83 35 Posted August 30, 2020 My surgery is tomorrow at 4 pm. I am a little nervous mostly excited. I think this is the first thing I have done for MYSELF in the last 20 or so years. Im 37, Started this process at 315, been working really hard and I am at 275. Not much support from my family except for a few of them. I really am just excited, and am not much of a sharer, so I felt this was a good step to share this with everyone. I hope everyone else finds themselves well in their journey! 5 1 4 BigSue, Sky _B, Annette P and 7 others reacted to this

BigSue 1,392 Posted August 30, 2020 Good luck! That’s great that you lost 40 pounds before surgery. That’s a good indication that you’ll do well after surgery, too! 1 JV83 reacted to this

It was my first surgery, (as a little kit I had tonsils taken out) and looking back on it there was very little to scared of. The absolute worst part was that I can't sleep in weird places so I was up all night last night waiting for them to release me the next morning. So I spent most of the night walking around staying moving. As far as pain, the worst part is the gas they fill you with, I still feel some of that. So, for all of you that are unsure or scared, you can definitely do it. 1 Sky _B reacted to this
