cana90 1 Posted August 23, 2020 Hi, I'm about a month and a week out from surgery. Two weeks ago I started alot of cramping and nausea. After that I began vomiting everyday, sometimes multiple times a day. I don't each or drink much so I have no energy especially w the vomiting. Got a gi series done Wednesday and it said I was healing fine. No hernia, leaks, or anything. Could I be low in something? I had bloodwork done Friday but wont know anything until Monday. Anybody else experience this? I swear I have been miserable since having my sleeve done. Sent from my SM-G960U1 using BariatricPal mobile app
NovaLuna 710 Posted August 23, 2020 (edited) It could be a lot of different things causing it from eating too fast to not tolerating certain foods. For example, I cannot tolerate wheat. At all. I get very, very, VERY sick. But I had no issues with wheat prior to my surgery. I'm 7 months out from Loop DS btw (it involves a sleeved stomach). If they can't figure it out try either an elimination thing or do an allergy panel (should be a last resort though because it'll make you itch like hell). Machta 15 Posted August 25, 2020 I hear you -- I'm almost 6 weeks out, and today is rough. For the first time I have nausea. I also am really tired today. I have a message in to my support team. But I'm trying to keep a positive attitude--my energy level is up and down a lot, but I'm down 29#. I love what this is doing, but it's not easy . . . best of luck and I hope you feel better.
