Wildbutterfly69 3 Posted September 3, 2020 Well I’m scheduled for sept 8 and I wish my husband was more involved I been doing a lot of researching watching videos and reading books etc... sure my husband came with me to the seminar but I can’t get him to listen to me about the journey after surgery he thinks by listening to the seminar he knows it all and the rest I’m over reacting. He cares more for his mutt then he does me so this journey I’ve started is all me and I’m very proud of how much I’ve done on pre-op diet I went from 306 lbs. to 288 but I still have to weight myself Sunday I’m hoping for 280 but wait and see. But hopefully everything will turn out great one day at a time. Gl sept. Surgeries 1 ByeByeBandHelloBypass reacted to this
Wildbutterfly69 3 Posted September 3, 2020 Tarotcardreader it does get easier mind over matter you have to really realize you need to do this I really didn’t start getting hunger pains til this last week of my liquid diet and it’s not everyday if I feel hungry I go have a hot cup of broth or tea and I feel better just tricking your mind having something hot is what helped me

Chelly95 6 Posted September 3, 2020 So I had the Gastric Bypass yesterday and Tbh my pain has not been too bad. I am on a shake and Water diet for 5 hours until I can get sent home and I’m not gonna lie it is kind of hard to get them down within 15mins of each other because you will feel full. Then in between that I have to walk. But I was drugged up after surgery for a quite awhile. But so far not too bad at all! Also I see someone asked about how long for Clear Liquids. My doctor is making me do two weeks of clear liquids and shakes then my diet will advance. 1 Sky _B reacted to this
