They will probably talk about your past diet (& likely mental health) history etc, make sure you understand about the surgery - that you realise it isn't a magic tool, perhaps make sure you understand what you need to do following the sugery. OshunKilgore 18 Posted July 27, 2020 I had to have a physiological exam before I had sleeve surgery. They wanted to make sure I was mentally fit for the surgery. Any surgery that is body changing is hard on a person and they want to make sure that you can handle it and have a support system in place. When I had surgery I had what I thought was a strong support system. 3 weeks after surgery my family decided to move out of state suddenly.
