Yes, it’s legit. I placed a big order before my surgery for all kinds of stuff, including Protein Drinks, Soups, oatmeal, and Vitamins. I haven’t tried everything yet, but my favorites so far are the Protein hot cocoa and southwest chili Soup.

I just ordered a 15 count trial sample kit of Syntrax Nectar Protein Powder so I can try most of the flavors before commiting to a large tub. My favorite so far is the fuzzy navel flavor. The chocolate tort was good too but I couldn't get past the texture (I used water.) The shop will definitely be my go to when I need bariatric related items.

I have numerous times. I love Bariatricpal pancake mixes. They are so yummy! I am 14 months post rny and I still can not eat but 1/2 a pancake. So I usually either save the other half for snack later or someone else in my family eats it. Lol. And their mock tails especially the pina colada is really nice and the Protein collagen shots are great (pink lemonade is my favorite). Their caramel mocha calcium citrate chews are awesome! They literally have thousands upon thousands of products, brands and categories to choose from. Try the Epic Breakfast bars! Talk about yum! You can literally search the site for hours browsing and fill your cart with things .

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
