Weight Loss Totals

Ghost: I haven't had much weight loss in the last 3 weeks. I'm not exercising much. I have got to get my butt in gear. I think the more you need to lose the faster it goes off. The closer to goal the harder the work. You've done amazing but I understand how it can get discouraging to get the last 10 lbs off. How do you feel after your PS? How nice to have a flat tummy!

I had lost 22 lbs pre-surgery and the rest since then--its easier for us guys and I certainly had enough to lose to begin with :)

I've lost 49 pounds. Tomorrow is my 2-month post op mark, so I'm hoping for 50! I've had one fill and I work out at least 1 hour cardio plus weights 6 times a week. I feel great!:whoo:

I am at 20 pounds and going in for my second fill on Wednesday. I had hoped for this to be going faster, but with a lower BMI to start with, I am trying to be realistic.

Also, who would have thought I would be DOWN 20 during the holidays???? Never happened before!

Ok so what am I doing wrong you guys. I got banded on 10/3 and am only down 15 pounds. HELP

And 10 of that was from the first week after surgery because I couldn't eat anything. I have had 2 fills already. I feel restricted and am only eating small meals but the weight doesn't want to come off. Is this not going to work for me?

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I've been missing really busy at work.

I'm down 28 and highly competetive so thank you all for hitting that 30-plus mark.

PVChickie I want to be down 40 by Jan 1 too!

Someone else posted they got stuck for 2 weeks and I have been too. I hate it but I know part of my problem is my work right now I work and sleep sleep and work. December 23rd I get my life back.

Congratulations everyone on doing great. No Tenacious Ten left behind!!!!

I have never been so happy about 22 pounds!

I will keep going, and plugging along, it is going to happen for ALL of us.

I'm ashamed to say I've only lost 15. I don't have any restriction but that's no excuse because I've been eating way to much crap. I can't seem to keep my greedy little paws out of the candy.:cry

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
