MeInLondon 2 Posted July 20, 2020 My initial plan was to have sleeve surgery and see if my fertility boosted but I fear I left this too late. I’m 40 & my gynaecologist is recommending a hysterectomy for long standing adenomyosis and endometriosis. I have to accept this as I can’t tolerate my periods and I can’t stay on menopause injections long term. Weight gain is partially from my hormones. My question is can I have a sleeve first or will I regain after hysterectomy??
catwoman7 11,220 Posted July 20, 2020 hopefully someone can answer this - but just wanted to say that I had surgery post-menopause and didn't have a problem losing weight. I was a slow loser, but that could have been partially due to other factors, too. Regardless, I did lose the weight... 1 MeInLondon reacted to this
