New to the forum

Hi everyone,

I hope it’s ok to post here. I just signed up to hopefully find some additional support in this journey. I finished my 6th dietician appointment June 29 and currently waiting on insurance approval (I have UHC and they require a 6 month process and a COE.... ugh). Anyway, my surgery is scheduled for August 24 as the soonest date, but I’m nervous it may be postponed due to COVID-19. Of course those folks are more important but I hope you understand where I’m coming from. I was due to get married in September, but for everyone’s safety, we cancelled the wedding and will elope somewhere instead. I’m relieved as wedding planning is stressful and I find myself yo-yoing, of course. I have a lot of faith in myself to be successful with my sleeve surgery. I’ve struggled with my weight for most of my life and I’m looking forward to feeling healthy, confident, and having more energy. I’m looking forward to learning from all of you! Thanks!

Good luck, mine was cancelled twice. Stick with it, it will be well worth it in the end.
